Last week, Justice May sentenced Paulette Whitfield to two years in jail for taking another woman's child.

Papers like the Sun and Afirror waxed indignant about this sentence. Heart-throb specialist Marjorie Proops of the Airror wrote, most right-thinking citizens will be shocked and appalled at the punishing sentence imposed on Mrs. Whitfield, who is clearly more sick than eriminal."

The Sun asked: "In the name et pity, how is that (the sentence) supposed to help this sad mixed-up girl, who so desperately wanted a NOT ILL Paulette is not ill or mentally disturbed. MARRIAGE Perhaps it was not a comcidence mother Capitalism preaches that chil The recent ravings of Keith Joseph were made to bolster that idea. Maybe Paulette took this morality at its face value and decided it was currect to put the child in a family unit.
