Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Apple Vision OCR) from a scan of a newspaper page, and the page was cut into articles by machine, at the headlines found by their type size. Nothing has been corrected: expect misread words, text from a neighbouring article, and titles that are the machine reading of the headline, some of them only fragments. Quote from the scan, not from this page.
How this article was cut and titled: headline found by type size in the OCR geometry (split_tabloid.py); 1-1 of 5; machine-segmented newspaper page; uncorrected Vision OCR.

I have received your letter of 11 June about -ine Government s resolution in carrying out the policies on which it was elected. It seems to me regrettably hysterical in tone and inaccurate in context. The Government, the party and its leader, have rejected any ideas of a coalition, and by the same token have rejected any adoption of coalition policies. To associate recent ministerial changes with a fundamental change in party attitudes is SUDICrOUS The Government will carry into reality the two mannestos on which we rouont last vear s elections You will be the first to agree no dovernment has done more to fulfil its pledges that this one, or done it more quickly.

If you are really talking about the Industry Bill and the National Enterprise Board, I have made it clear that the Government will fully honour what ww set our in une mannesto, ane in last autumn s White Paper on which you and 1 and all of us fought the October election.

I welcome your announcement of "campaigns within and without the House" in support of the manifesto, which I interpret as the full-hearted desire to support the Government which is carrying out the pledges in that manifesto. The Labour movement wil be particulariy cramried to see vou and those on whose behalf you have written harnessing to this task those undeniable oratorical and debating talents which your friends have sometimes felt have been diverted to more diversionary obiectives.

to amena une woros ora distinquisned oredeces sor, such a period of support on vour part would now be welcome.
